Applying the base

• Types of foundation

1. Liquid base
2. Stick base
3. Tinted moisturizer( usually used for men or older skin)
4. Pouder type (for normal or young skin)
5. Cream(grease paste)
6. Oil-free base(for oily skin)

• Concealer

1. Yellow- bust the complexion
2. Red- for darker undetones
3. Green- will neutralise red undertones

It is important to apply grease on grease products and powder on pwder. The powder products will take away the shine and will fix the make-up.

• Step-by-step

   After cleaning the face, we have to choose the appropriate colour of the model's skin, so with a  stick we pick up the suitable color from the palette to create the colour we need. Then we mix it on the back of the hand or on the artit's palette. We can add the primer in the mix or we can apply the primer first(I applyed the Matte Primer first). We have to find a small part of the face for trying the colour in order to make sure that the  colour is the one we need, then we apply the base on the face, making circular motions with the brush. We continue with the same movements until the colour is well absorbed by the skin. With a bogger brush, we buff everything. We pay attention not to go too much into the hair skin, and give a partuicular attention around the eyes. We apply the concealer on the area in which we need to correct or to cover imperfections. Finally, we apply a translucent powder to take away the shine and to fix the make-up.

There must be NO GAP between the natural skin colour and the skin with make-up.

Even I have been praised for the way in which I applied the foundation, there were some small mistakes. Of course I have to practice and improve in some things. The observations were made ​​around the eyes and, I have to expand base more on the neck surface.

Proceeding

First of all get the hair off the face (the hair contains a greasy substance).  

Make the person feel comfortable  Put a small amount of CLEANSER on some cotton pads and start to perform circular motions in an upward direction on the model’s face   

As we reach the eyebrows we need to cleanse area side to side several times 

 To cleanse the eye lids we have to gently  bring the motion down  

After the facial cleansing is done we have to repeat the same procedure by using a TONER   

 After we have to apply a small amount of cleanser on a cotton bud and apply it in the lash line from side to side till the area is fully cleansed. 

 Finally we must apply some moisturizer on the palm of our hands and gently massage the face in circular motions starting from the jaw line upwards
